Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Simulation Technician with a background as a certified nurse. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in simulation technology, clinical education, and hands-on experience with advanced simulation equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment, including manikins, audio-visual systems, and software.
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and execute realistic clinical simulation scenarios.
• Ensure simulation environments replicate real-world clinical settings, maintaining high standards of accuracy and functionality.
• Assist in the preparation and debriefing of simulation sessions, providing technical and operational support.
• Train faculty and staff on simulation equipment usage and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of simulation-based training programs.
• Maintain inventory, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate repairs for simulation equipment.

Requirements:

• Certified Nurse with an active nursing license.
• Certification as a Simulation Technician/Expert (e.g., CHSE or similar certification).
• Proven experience in clinical simulation, including operating and programming high-fidelity manikins and related technologies.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in simulation software and hardware.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare education or training.
• Advanced certifications in simulation or clinical education.
