Exciting Opportunity - Shuttering Carpenter - Construction Industry Job duties and responsibilities
- Capable of understanding architectural and engineering drawings and specifications, to determine the dimensions, shape, and layout of the formwork required for a particular concrete structure.
- Capable of using various materials such as timber, plywood, steel, or aluminium, and building the formwork to the specified dimensions and shape outlined in the plans.
- Capable of using a variety of tools and equipment, such as hammers, nails, screws, and braces, to assemble and fasten the formwork components as required.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in placing and securing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) within the framework before the concrete is poured as and when required.
- Coordinate with other construction professionals (e.g. concrete workers, steel fixers, site supervisor etc) to ensure the timely and accurate installation, pouring, and removal of formwork.
- 2 \xe2\x80\x93 2 \xc2\xbd years of proven experience working as a shuttering carpenter in any GCC country.
- Hands-on experience working with carpentry tools and materials and excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Preferably with experience working within the construction industry with hands-on experience using safety belts and other safety equipment\xe2\x80\x99s.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Salary provided as per the experience of the candidate.
