We embrace diversity by valuing the uniqueness of each individual and being committed to equal opportunities for all.About the roleThe Shopper & Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for developing channel and shopper strategies for the Middle East & Northern Africa (MENA) region, focused on maximizing Net Sales, Market Share, Category Growth, and POS presence and visibility. This role collaborates closely with the Marketing, Customer, and Field teams to execute these strategies.
Owns shopper insights and defines go-to-market plans by Category and Retail Environment (RE) across MENA markets.
Develops and drives the implementation of the 4P\'s to ensure the Picture of Success (PICOS) is achieved, winning both the primary shelf and the impulse shopper by Category and RE in MENA.
Main AccountabilitiesPlanning:
Map activation needs for all markets and integrate them into lead market workstreams.
Align and build Sales & Category Management (S&CM) workstreams for Category/RE across all cluster markets for ABP/Fast Start/Business reviews.
Develop MENA forecast for Category/RE in S&OP.
Build base business and innovation packages for all MENA markets (PICOS, POSM, Selling Story, Selling Kit, Forecasts, and Tracking).
Commercial Operations:
Design all POSM for MENA markets for Category/RE as per PICOS guidelines.
Customize regional PICOS by RE.
Collaborate with pricing and promo teams to create comprehensive pricing and promotion guidelines by Category/RE.
Utilize an agile mindset for competitive benchmarking and refine promotional management through pre- and post-promotion evaluations.
Gather and analyze insights by Category/RE to enhance commercial strategies.
Customer Engagement (Direct & Indirect):
Support Sales with S&CM content for JBP/T2T presentations by Category/RE across MENA markets.
Provide Sales with category insights as required by Category/RE across the MENA cluster.
Develop thematic programs (CSR, Modern Trade thematics) for MENA.
Collaborate with cluster markets to address category performance opportunities/issues.
Store Execution:
Conduct trade visits to gather insights on retail execution, trends, and competitors.
Create high-quality Trax content (MSL, Primary shelf KPIs) and collaborate with MENA markets to close gaps.
Develop content for WTS and category-specific material for Skin Advisor \'Selling Story\' and \'Selling Kit\' across markets.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Shopper/Trade Marketing, preferably in an FMCG company.
Good knowledge of the MENA retail landscape with multi-channel experience preferred.
Strong commercial and strategic thinking.
Relationship building and financial analysis skills are essential.
Proven experience in aligning brand strategies with channel strategies and executing them effectively.
Customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and develop business strategies accordingly.
Pragmatic, dynamic, and results-oriented with a hands-on approach.
Capable of adapting, navigating, and playing a leading role in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player.
Strong in cross-functional collaboration.
