Shift Manager*
*Position Overview:* As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and team members during designated shifts. You will ensure excellent customer service, uphold quality standards, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, you will assist in training new team members, managing inventory, and handling customer inquiries and concerns.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Supervise Shift Operations:* Directly oversee the daily operations of the shift, including coordinating tasks, assigning roles, and ensuring smooth workflow.
2. *Customer Service:* Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
3. *Quality Control:* Maintain high-quality standards for product preparation, presentation, and service. Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
4. *Team Management:* Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and uphold company values. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team productivity and morale.
5. *Inventory Management:* Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and conducting inventory counts as required.
6. *Safety and Cleanliness:* Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace, including adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
7. *Reporting:* Prepare shift reports detailing sales, inventory usage, and any operational issues or concerns. Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance and recommendations for improvement.
8. *Problem Solving:* Address any operational challenges or customer issues that arise during the shift promptly and effectively. Implement solutions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
*Qualifications:*
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the food service industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
