OverviewThe primary function of the SHEQ Systems Support Engineer is to ensure the integrity of the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) software platform(s), which are utilized to manage key SHEQ aspects, leverage the information to support appropriate data driven decisions within each of the Business Units and ensure the SHEQ platforms are functioning as designed while meeting business needs.Responsibilities
Function as the SHEQ software platform expert, problem solving and addressing system related errors while working to address unforeseen user issues
Maintain the Element laboratory organization structures within the SHEQ software platforms to ensure correct escalation and communication of data
Create and implement processes for the reporting and analysis of data within the SHEQ platforms.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure data is accurate and accessible
Extract and present data to allow effective utilization and management of the SHEQ functions across the business
Document procedures and develop training resources for the SHEQ platforms
Provide training on use of SHEQ platform (in person, virtually and via e-training resources)
Assist in integration of new acquisition and alignment to a single SHEQ software platform
Collaborate with SHEQ software platform providers to implement system updates and improvements.
Work with SHE and Quality functional leadership to improve data quality and utilization of SHEQ platform
Support digitization of paper records
Use of SHEQ platform to ensure business critical documents are controlled
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in a technical subject
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
Proficient in the administration and development of enterprise software platforms
Fluent in English (proficiency in other languages would be beneficial)
Ability to communicate effectively to colleagues at all levels of the organization, maintaining mutual respect, integrity, and trust
Ability to solve complex technical problems and maintain attention to detail
Ability to complete assignments on time in accordance with targets/goals set by the manager
Capable of working with limited supervision and as part of a team
Capable of independent judgment and decision making and discretion
Familiar with general SHEQ principles and practices (management systems, internal audits, safety review and committee meetings, etc.)
Able /willing to travel up to 5%, including international travel
