Our Client a 5* Hotel based in Dubai . :The Shawarma Chef is responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking high-quality shawarma dishes using authentic techniques.This role requires expertise in handling both beef and chicken shawarma, as well as creating other related dishes.The chef must maintain high food safety and hygiene standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Shawarma Preparation:
Prepare, marinate, and season beef and chicken for shawarma using traditional methods (e.g., Lebanese, Egyptian and Syrian styles).
Operate and maintain shawarma rotisseries and slicing equipment.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all shawarma dishes.
2. Menu Execution:
Prepare a variety of shawarma dishes, including sandwiches, Arabic-style shawarma, and shawarma plates.
Develop and refine recipes to enhance the flavor profile and maintain authenticity.3. Kitchen Management:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels of shawarma ingredients and assist in ordering supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and handling.
4. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in shawarma preparation techniques.
Collaborate effectively with a multicultural team.
Job Requirements:1. Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in shawarma preparation.
2. Skills and Expertise:
Expertise in preparing and seasoning beef shawarma in Lebanese, Egyptian and Syrian styles.
Proficiency in preparing Syrian-style chicken shawarma.
Mastery in preparing other dishes, such as:
Arabic-style shawarma
Shawarma plates
High-level skills in preparation, slicing, and sandwich-making.
