Position: ServiceNow Principal Consultant - Telecom Lead
Location: Riyadh (with hybrid working options, allowing remote work for two weeks every two months) As the ServiceNow Principal Consultant - Telecom Lead, you will spearhead my client's Telecom practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes within the telecom sector. Your role encompasses managing ServiceNow development, solutions, integration, and system architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Responsibilities Design and Architect Scalable Solutions: Create and architect telecom solutions on the ServiceNow platform that meet business needs while adhering to best practices and scalability standards.
Lead Platform Implementation Projects: Oversee implementation projects, working with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment and adoption of ServiceNow solutions.
Provide Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Offer technical direction and mentorship to development teams, assist in resolving complex technical issues, review code, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Evaluate and Recommend Platform Enhancements: Assess new platform features, upgrades, and enhancements, recommending adoption based on business needs, industry trends, and technical considerations.
Drive Platform Governance and Optimization: Establish and enforce platform governance policies, ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements, and identify opportunities for platform optimization and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with 6+ years on the ServiceNow platform within the telecom industry. Experience in integration, development, and project leadership. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ServiceNow certifications (CMA/CTA) are desirable, with sponsorship for the program available for the qualified candidate. CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-ITAM certifications or equivalent required; TNI, TSOM experience is a significant advantage. Experience with ServiceNow transformation projects. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Arabic language skills preferred but not mandatory.
