Are you a skilled automotive technician passionate about vehicle servicing and repairs? We are seeking a

Service Technician

to conduct high-quality maintenance and repair work, ensuring vehicles operate at optimal performance levels. This role is essential in upholding safety standards, customer satisfaction, and the overall efficiency of service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

Perform vehicle servicing and maintenance to ensure 100% performance and reliability.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Objectives:

Perform

minor periodic service maintenance

as per

MG Guidelines & IEM SOP

. Repair or replace worn and faulty parts based on job orders. Conduct

Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)

to ensure vehicle readiness. Utilize

scanning tools (VDS)

to diagnose and erase faults. Assist

Repair and Diagnostic Technicians

as required. Continuously

learn new technical information

through formal training sessions to stay updated with evolving automotive technologies. Maintain an

inventory of standard technician tools

. Provide

clear documentation

of work performed, highlighting any safety-related concerns to superiors. Clock in/out on assigned job orders following standard procedures. Coordinate with the

Workshop Controller

on vehicle status and the

Parts Advisor

to ensure the correct parts are obtained. Follow superior instructions in alignment with company SOPs. Maintain a

professional attitude and appearance

at all times. Ensure company assets are maintained, and the work area remains

clean and organized

. Adhere to

health and safety procedures and regulations

. Ensure

high-quality workmanship

in all repair and maintenance tasks as per

IEM MG SOP

. Perform other duties as requested by the

supervisor or service manager

.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or certification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of

3 years in a similar role

, preferably in a dealership or service center.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong

diagnostic and repair skills

. Proficiency in using

automotive scanning tools (VDS)

.

Fluency in English

(Arabic preferred). Ability to follow

technical guidelines and SOPs

.
