We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Department Management:
• Oversee all operations within the service department, including staff management, scheduling, and workflow.
• Ensure the department operates efficiently, meets performance targets, and maintains high standards of service quality.
• Customer Service:
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring all service work meets customer expectations.
• Staff Supervision:
• Recruit, train, and supervise service technicians and support staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance staff skills.
• Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the service department budget, including revenue targets, expenses, and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure all service and repair work is performed to the highest standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize errors and rework.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee parts inventory, ensuring availability of necessary parts while controlling costs.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts as needed.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Promote a safe working environment and address any safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.

Education:
