Department Management:
Oversee all operations within the service department, including staff management, scheduling, and workflow.
Ensure the department operates efficiently, meets performance targets, and maintains high standards of service quality.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring all service work meets customer expectations.
Staff Supervision:
Recruit, train, and supervise service technicians and support staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance staff skills.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the service department budget, including revenue targets, expenses, and profitability.
Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
Quality Control:
Ensure all service and repair work is performed to the highest standards.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize errors and rework.
Inventory Management:
Oversee parts inventory, ensuring availability of necessary parts while controlling costs.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts as needed.
