Service Engineer

Key responsibility, reporting to the Head of Sales Factory & Logistics Automation, Co-ordinate, plan and execute the Factory Automation & Logistics Automation service activities occurring in the Middle East region.\xc2\xb7 Proactively collaborate and align all activities related to Project & Service Execution.
\xc2\xb7 Help identify the key risks involved during acquisition stages related to the execution of the project and/or service.
\xc2\xb7 Installation, Commissioning & SAT of Products and Systems.
\xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure that service requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
\xc2\xb7 Perform emergency, periodic & preventative maintenance, repair, shutdown services and AMC\'s for all products installed at customers\' premises.
\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot & diagnose issues in a pressurized situation.
\xc2\xb7 Provide remote and/or on-site training for customer engineers.
\xc2\xb7 Provide remote technical service support (including email, telephonic & online).
\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work performed, parts used, time spent etc and ensure timely invoicing of service completed.
\xc2\xb7 Support Sales Team with customer visits & carry out site surveys, to gather existing install base data.
\xc2\xb7 Support Sales Team to promote & sell the Service Portfolio.
\xc2\xb7 Witness and/or execute pre-FAT and FAT at System Integrators premises as and when required.
\xc2\xb7 Limit all liabilities to the company and group.
\xc2\xb7 Some out of normal working hours may be required (including weekends & public holidays).Requirements\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics / Instrumentation Field\xc2\xb7 10+ years of total work experience with at least 5 years handling complex international projects within the Laser & Camera based Barcode Reading Systems (1D& 2D), RFID Systems and Volume & Weight Measurement Systems.
\xc2\xb7 Professional attitude & good communication skills at all levels of the organization.
\xc2\xb7 Fluent written/spoken English; additional language is advantageous.
\xc2\xb7 Technical Expertise (Project Management, IT Software, Quality Tools). Working knowledge of CRM systems.
\xc2\xb7 Travel within the Middle East region
