About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced NAVCOM Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of a wide range of NAVCOM equipment on various vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Commissioning: Carry out the installation and commissioning of NAVCOM equipment, including VDR-APT's, navigation equipment, and GMDSS equipment.
• Project Management: Manage retrofit projects, overseeing complete bridge installations and large system integrations.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, and service agents.
• Surveys and Inspections: Conduct surveys and inspections of ship radio communications and radio navigational installations, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform timely maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve equipment failures and restore normal operations.
• Spare Parts Management: Manage spare part requisitions to ensure efficient project execution.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.
• Customer Education: Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Offshore Work: Attend offshore jobs as required.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Diploma in Engineering, ITI, or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of NAVCOM equipment and systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel and work offshore as required
• Marine Industry Experience is a must
