This role is based in our Service Center in Abu Dhabi, UAEYou will be working on heat exchangers (GPHE and WHE) ensuring reliable operation, optimum performance, and efficiency.Key Tasks
Secure a strong HSE and quality culture within the Service Centre.
Perform hands on activities related to Heat Exchanger reconditioning including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, dye checking, gluing of gaskets, assembly, and pressure testing of the GPHE and WHE units.
Report the technical findings on the different inspection along the job and establish reports.
Quickly adapt availability of internal and external resources based on customer demands.
Ensure that jobs are executed according to importance in close cooperation with sales and that deviations are reported quickly.
Share knowledge and support in competence development.
Execute repairs and reconditioning of equipment in service centre according to specifications, repair manuals and the defined job scope.
Be engaged in problem resolution, suggesting & implementing improvements for products, tools and working procedures.
Ensure safety first culture attitude during working execution and always ensure to wear full PPE demanded by the nature of the work.
Be responsible for day-to-day housekeeping and General workshop duties.
Engaged in 5S, safety and quality and immediately call for service centre management in case of problems/risks.
Attend organized training courses as instructed, which will be a part of Personnel Development program.
Able to go extra mile in fulfilling our customer requirements for on time execution of jobs & willing to work extended hours.
You will also be required to support Field Service activities at customers locations if requested.
What You Know (Education, Experience and Certification)
Mechanical Engineering qualification(s), Diploma or equivalent.
5 to 10 years experience of industrial service work in various industrial markets.
Welding qualifications is mandatory.
Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Alfa Laval products especially heat exchangers would be an advantage, but not essential.
