Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing our website, driving organic traffic, and improving search engine rankings. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies, with a deep understanding of current SEO trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities: • On-Page Optimization:
+ Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to inform content strategies.
+ Optimize web pages for search engines, including title tags, meta descriptions, and headers.
+ Ensure proper implementation of structured data and schema markup.
+ Analyze and improve website architecture, internal linking, and user experience.
• Off-Page Optimization:
+ Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
+ Build relationships with relevant websites and influencers to acquire quality backlinks.
+ Monitor and disavow harmful links that negatively impact search engine rankings.
• Content Strategy:
+ Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation.
+ Create, edit, and optimize content for blogs, landing pages, and other digital assets.
+ Analyze and recommend changes to improve content rankings on search engines.
• Technical SEO:
+ Perform regular audits of the website to identify and resolve SEO issues.
+ Ensure that the website is properly indexed by search engines and follows best practices for mobile-first indexing.
+ Work with the development team to resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., page speed, redirects, crawl errors).
• Analytics and Reporting:
+ Track and report on key SEO metrics (organic traffic, rankings, conversion rates, etc.).
+ Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz to analyze website performance.
+ Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Competitive Analysis:
+ Monitor and analyze competitors' SEO performance and strategies.
+ Stay updated with industry trends and implement new strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications: • Proven experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic web development is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of paid search (PPC) and other digital marketing channels.
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
• Certification in Google Analytics, SEO, or related fields is a plus.
