Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, strategies, and best practices to increase website visibility and drive organic traffic. The SEO Specialist will work closely with the marketing and content teams to implement SEO strategies that align with business objectives and help achieve company goals.Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development:
Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive organic traffic.
Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for content optimization and creation.
Analyze competitors and identify opportunities to improve our SEO performance.
On-Page SEO:
Optimize website content, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and image alt texts.
Ensure proper use of keywords and SEO best practices in all content.
Improve website structure, internal linking, and navigation to enhance user experience and SEO performance.
Off-Page SEO:
Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and referral traffic.
Monitor and manage backlinks, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality links.
Collaborate with PR and content teams to promote content and build relationships with industry influencers.
Technical SEO:
Conduct regular website audits to identify technical SEO issues and recommend solutions.
Work with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements, including page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data markup.
Monitor and fix crawl errors, broken links, and other technical issues that may impact SEO.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
Track key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and more.
Prepare regular reports on SEO performance and present findings to stakeholders.
Content Collaboration:
Work closely with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content strategies.
Provide guidelines and recommendations for optimizing content to improve search engine visibility.
Ensure content aligns with SEO strategies and contributes to overall marketing goals.
Stay Up-to-Date:
Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes.
Experiment with new SEO techniques and strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
Continuously learn and improve SEO skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
Experience with website analysis using various analytics tools.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with e-commerce SEO.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their impact on SEO.
Certification in SEO or digital marketing.
