  • Analyse finished products, packaging materials and ingredients by verifying their adherence to existing specifications in order enable eventual corrections required to evaluate and control the production process and provide technical support to production and quality assurance areas
  • Verify/measure sensorial quality of finished products and ingredients based on sensorial specifications
  • Assist to prepare and keep up-to-date laboratory procedures for sensorial analysis
  • Conduct sensorial analysis for consumer complaints of a complaint product
  • Assist sensorial demands from QA, R&D and Production
  • Manage sensorial results and issue reports
  • Assist the elaboration of action plans to correct non conformances
  • Assist QA on elaboration of sensorial testing plan and ensure its fulfilment
  • Participate of different meetings and correct any eventual non conformance
  • Participate of internal or external technical events related to sensorial analysis
  • Analyze and ingredients received, maintain applicable certificates and record data required. Follow up with supplier on corrective actions related to pack materials
  • Perform Iconic products evaluation and maintain required data
  • Perform clients products evaluation and maintain required data
  • Check integrity, functionality of equipment
  • Maintain data related to approved suppliers (packaging materials)
  • Perform trial sample evaluations alongside with R&D Sensory
  • Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf life samples.

  • Perform routine operational activities receiving guidance.
  • Assist in one or more processes.
  • Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
  • Demonstrate, by example, commitment to HSE.
  • Participate visibly in activities for implementing and improving the HSE management system.
  • Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety.
  • Efficiently use the resources available
  • Report all HSE hazards, accidents, incidents and deviations with actual or potential loss
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems
  • Follow the Food Safety Golden Rules and FSQ Policy
  • Comply with companys procedures, work instructions and guidelines and ensure that respective employees/subordinates are trained and retrained;
  • Comply with all current and applicable personnel / food safety regulations and procedures and participate actively in food safety program instituted by the company.
  • Take all reasonable measures to maintain food integrity and keep customers safe
  • Report problems /changes related to FSQ management system
  • Comply with the Food Fraud and Food Defense requirements established

Job Responsibilities

Education

Academic Background

  • Diploma in Food Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry
  • Microsoft Office
  • SAP (preferable)
