Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer**

**Doha, Qatar**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer** to join our team. In this role you will get to review the detailed designs, construction drawings together with Tender and Contract documents.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Familiar with load demand calculations for large and small private developments and also for mixed used developments.

+ Perform design/analysis calculations related to wet utilities such as Treated Sewage Effluent, potable water, Foul Sewer, stormwater networks using PWA and Kahramaa guidelines.

+ Review Tender drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.

+ Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and Junior Engineers working on the same project.

+ Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.

+ Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

+ Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.

+ Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.

+ Reviews supplier drawing submittals and provide comments.

+ Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution

+ Minimum 12 years of infrastructure engineering design particularly water and wastewater networks

+ 5 years or experience in Qatar/GCC region

+ Demonstrated previous PMCM experience

+ Proven ability to perform technical role

+ Conversant with Potable Water & Fire Fighting / Treated Sewage Effluent / Foul Sewer/ Storm Water regulations such as Kahramaa, Public Works Authority, MME, QCDD and other relevant authorities in Qatar

+ Through knowledge of local codes, industry practices/regulations and standards including Authorities guidelines and Qatar national standards

+ Knowledge of current technology and its effective use on the project.

+ Good spoken and written English is essential.

+ Ability to work well within a project team of mixed nationalities

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Advanced presentation, problem solving and communication skills.

+ Experience in design and review of network models using SewerGems, WaterGems, Infoworks ICM and similar hydraulic design software.
