Careem operates in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.Careem is looking for a talented and creative Senior UX Writer (fluent in English with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable though not essential), to join our dynamic team. As the Senior UX Writer, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and informative content that showcases our products and resonates with Careem\'s target audience.This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design and UX research, to ensure content aligns with Careem\'s business goals, marketing strategy and resonates with our customers.Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging and persuasive product descriptions and marketing content that highlight the benefits and unique selling points of the Careem app
• Collaborate with product management, marketing, and design teams to gather product information and insights for content creation
• Adapt content to various platforms and formats, including the Android and iOS app versions, social media presence, email campaigns and more
• Conduct research to understand market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to inform content strategy
• Ensure all content is accurate, consistent with the Careem brand tone of voice and optimised to drive traffic and conversions across the Careem suite of services
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence and adherence to Careem brand guidelines

What you\'ll need

• Ability to craft the content, as well as create guidelines and frameworks for others to contribute to producing the content when necessary
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of published content that demonstrates creativity, clarity and persuasive storytelling
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide and receive feedback and support and sharpen the creative briefs by having the confidence to ask the right questions
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting high-quality content that engages and informs audiences
• Experienced in shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal skills in English (Arabic-speaking would be a bonus)
• Proven experience as a Product Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role in Product teams
