The role will report to the Mobility and Transportation Lead in Dubai and work closely other Associate Directors and Principal Transport Planner and Modeler.Manage the role of Senior Transport Modeller for projects in MENA & GCC region with focus on analysing and improving transportation systems.Responsibilities

• Experience of using industry standard software such as PTV Visum; PTV Vissim, Cube Voyager, EMME, SIDRA, Synchro and Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficient in creating, handling, and manipulating large datasets with MS Excel, with some proficiency in using GIS tools.
• Develop mobility plan and strategies and frameworks considering all user groups and modes of transport of pedestrian, cycling, micro mobility as well as vehicular and public transport.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of the underlying principles of transport planning and modelling. Undertake mobility planning studies, transportation master planning studies, multi-modal and public transports studies, transit-oriented development studies, and traffic impact and parking studies starting from the pre concept master plan stage and visioning through the detailed master planning and the conceptual layout of urban infrastructure, city scale and mixed-use developments.
• Evaluate and analyse transportation networks of various modal split on a site-wide and regional scale and estimate the traffic distribution.
• Evaluate and prepare the transportation demand modelling and the traffic simulation models and recommend the most cost-effective and sustainable mobility options to achieve the required level of service on defined phases.
• Review and analyse transport models using spreadsheets and verify using simulation software.
• Parking Demand Calculations based on the project occupancy/built up areas and based on codes, standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure project compliance with local and international codes and standards, government regulations as well as the Client requirements.
• Attend project meetings with Project Teams, Subconsultants and the Client.
• Proficient in Research, analyse, report writing, and preparation of presentation on project findings for internal and external stakeholders.

Support business development and commercial managers team in analysing RFPs, preparing techno-commercial bids, presentations and negotiations for potential urban infrastructure and airport projects.Relevant Experience

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in development and application transport model to support city wide transport planning, conceptual and detailed infrastructure planning, urban master planning projects and traffic impact study (TIS) in GCC region.

Qualification & Education

• Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering, Urban Planning, or related field (mandatory).
• Master s degree in Transportation planning from a recognized university is preferred.
• Chartership/certification/license from a recognized professional body (e.g. P.E., P.Eng., C.Eng., CIHT, CILT) is preferred.
• Relevant registration with the transport authorities in UAE, KSA, OMAN, Qatar and Bahrain are preferred.
