We are a company specialized in the design, fabrication and installation of Floating Marinas and we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Tender Engineer/QS

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the preparation of tender submissions for onshore marine projects, including the review of technical specifications, drawings, and other documentation. Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates based on project scope, material, labor, and equipment requirements. Prepare and submit tender documents in accordance with client requirements and deadlines. Provide detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for marine construction activities. Analyze and evaluate project scope changes and develop pricing for variations. Ensure the accuracy of cost forecasts throughout the tendering and pre-construction phases. Assist in reviewing and negotiating contract terms, conditions, and pricing with clients and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications. Apply technical expertise in onshore marine projects, including knowledge of marine construction techniques, dredging, breakwaters, piers, jetties, quay walls, and associated infrastructure. Ensure the integration of marine-specific safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements into the tender process. Address specific challenges related to marine projects such as tidal conditions, site access, and offshore coordination. Prepare detailed tender reports, cost breakdowns, and justifications for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of tender documentation, correspondence, and contract agreements.

Key Qualifications

:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience

: At least 8-10 years of experience in tendering and/or quantity surveying, with a focus on onshore marine construction projects. Strong experience in cost estimating, budgeting, and contract administration in marine infrastructure projects (docks, piers, breakwaters, jetties, etc.. Proficiency in tender preparation software, cost estimation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
