:Wood is presently looking to hire a Senior Telecommunication Engineer to be based at contractor\'s office in Dubai for a Gas metering project with Saudi Aramco. Below are more details about the position.Responsibilities:

• To execute engineering Design, FEED and detail Engineering experience and Costing estimation for proposal in Telecom systems
• Responsible for complete engineering document activities like preparing block diagram, functional design specification, datasheets, MR, equipment layouts, interconnection drawings, termination drawings, cabinet drawings
• Take part in Technical bid evaluations, Vendor document review and approvals
• Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development
• Provide discipline support to the business
• Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports
• Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution
• Deputizing for principal as required
• Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports
• Executing assigned personal objectives
• Management of third party suppliers in the execution of Engineering delivery
• Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Participate in audits and incident investigations as required
• Coaching and mentoring as delegated
• Provides input to the performance management of direct reports
• Manage and supervise direct reports

Qualifications:

• MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experience
• Chartered Engineer or recognized equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years\' experience in IT / Telecom field including Security & Safety, wired & wireless communication in Oil & Gas Projects and extensive knowledge in LAN & WAN, ACS, CCTV, FOC, IDS, PAGA, Hotline systems, F&G and IP telephone etc.
• Demonstrable balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position
