Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities) Optimize Production: To execute all scheduled Total years for experience 5-6: 5 Years as a Technician/ Fitter in a Steel Plant 2-3 years experience in Mechanical maintenance of Steel Plant as a Production Optimization: Perform preventive, corrective, and major equipment repairs to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production. Troubleshooting: Address mechanical breakdowns promptly, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions. Problem Solving: Handle mechanical maintenance issues during breakdowns and communicate abnormalities to superiors for resolution. Inspection & Compliance: Conduct equipment inspections to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards. Maintenance Support: Assist superiors in technical tasks to ensure smooth maintenance operations and uninterrupted production. Follow mechanical maintenance related development standards for all equipment in the Steel Making Plant. Policies and Procedures Management: To follow all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental management policies, procedures applicable to maintenance related development. Supervision: To lead a group of Technicians / Welder (instruction and guidance to Technician / Welder) and participate in maintenance related development works Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities (attributes) required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
