What you will do


The Senior Technician - Controls, Fire & Security (CFS) is a key role reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi. The Aftermarket CFS team carry out service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Security Management Systems (SMS) and Controls used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries including commercial, retail and hospitality.


As a Senior Technician you will support commissioning, replacing the controllers and you will be responsible for the onsite system verification, PPM activities, testing & commissioning of additional doors/cameras, Upgradations, service reports of Security Management Systems (SMS) and manage overall team of technicians and subcontractors on roster based 24/7 duty shift plan.

How you will do it


As a Senior Technician, you must have knowledge of the latest security system products and electronics/Networking knowledge. You are hands on, programming controllers, installing & commissioning of various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms, Visitor Management Systems , Speed gates, Car Park barriers, Bollards, Tire-killers , ANPR and set up, test third party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by maintaining a high standard of safety at all times.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical /Electronic engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 Years' Experience with programming, installation, Commissioning & Servicing of Various Brands CCTV systems(Milestone , Pelco , Avigilon , Bosch, Exacq Vision ,Victor) , Intercom systems and software(Zenitel, Stentofon & Commend,Etc), Intrusion detection Systems , ANPR systems, Guard Tour Systems & Access Control systems (P2K, C CURE, & CEM ACS Applications).
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on access control & CCTV Systems Integration with Visitor Management , Intercoms, Fire, Bollards, Speed gates and Intrusion Systems,
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Integration of SQL databases with different applications.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on high level Integration with Lifts, Thermal Cameras , RFID readers & Perimeter detection systems.
• Proven knowledge and experience in preparing ADMCC submittals and requirements are required for the candidate.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of Speed gates & Road Blockers
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of clustered servers (Windows & Database) and Stratus ever Run, VMware platforms, Networking .
• Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks and coordination with third-party service providers and vendors.
• Provides solutions to others on very complex system problems by either troubleshooting or advising how to resolve problems.
• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.
• Escalation points on technical issues and provides coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to team members and clients.
• Focal point for client, sales, manufacturer to achieve the required solutions to fulfil the client requirements.
• Coordinate with client's IT team to understand their IT & network requirements and implement the same.
• Technical knowledge in working with UPS systems.
• Investigate and perform necessary diagnostic procedures and resolve complex technical issues pertaining to hardware, operating system & database by using software and hardware diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge in preparation of Incident reports and Root Cause Analysis reports
• Candidate should be fluent in English speaking & Writing
• Valid UAE Driving License
