Performs skilled rotating equipments maintenance at an advanced level on Offshore Super Complex and Well Head Towers. Supports engineering, construction and commissioning activities, onshore and offshore during project stage for rotating equipments and packages. Safely leads and directs assigned workforce (technicians, vendors, riggers, subcontractors) consisting of related skills, as well as participates in the workforce tasks. Work includes but is not limited to maintenance of gas turbines, gas compressors, gear boxes, diesel engines, air compressors, various pumps, mechanical seals, Dry gas seals, Fan coolers, auxiliary systems of rotating equipments, utility packages and material handling equipments.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESJob Specific Accountabilities - Perform the role of performer, by leading technicians, vendor representative and riggers during preventive / corrective / breakdown / shutdown / turnaround maintenance in the Super Complex and Well Head Towers. - Receives work request from Rotating Equipment Supervisor. Attends directly to requests from various Sections in the Super Complex & WHTs for maintenance of different rotating equipment and packages like gas turbines, gas compressors, gear boxes, diesel engines, air compressors, various pumps, mechanical seals, Dry Gas seals, Fan coolers, auxiliary systems of rotating equipments, utility packages and material handling equipments. - Hands on experience, Technical & theoretical knowledge and skill in turbo generators & compressors, diesel engines, various types of pumps and Fan coolers. - Work independently in rotating equipment in corrective and breakdown maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting / diagnostic, perform corrective actions, prepare detailed intervention report and suggest recommendations to avoid recurrence. - Perform boroscopic inspection in turbines and prepare detailed report with the findings. - Able to read, draw & understand mechanical drawings, cross sectional drawings, Piping & instrument diagram. - Follow closely SAP workorders in order to avoid backlog and to maintain KPI. - Multi skill to carryout different activities at the same time to avoid impact on production and HSE - Identify, prepare and request required spare parts for the major intervention of rotating equipment. - Disassembles, assembles, observes, repairs, tests, collects data and prepares reports etc. on rotating equipments and auxiliaries, as tasks related to maintenance. - Performs installation and mechanical alignment of equipment such as pumps, compressors, gas turbines, using relevant tools including computerized laser alignment tools. - Installs, removes, inspects and repairs mechanical spare parts like bearings, seals, Dry gas seals etc. on typical rotating equipment. - Monitors and measures vibrations readings level and keeps records for each unit, including detecting abnormalities, analyzing problems and recommending corrective actions. - Uses and ensures safe use of proper tools and tackles on the job by assigned workforce. - Carries out periodic pre-use inspection of tools and special tools, repairs, overhauls and tests them when required. - Able to perform assigned tasks independently with minimum supervision. - Agree for Offshore work location based on rotation cycles as directed by ADNOC OFFSHORE HR policy. - Learns from the methods and errors and recommends to the supervisor on ways of continuous improvement. - Assists the supervisor to improve the productivity of work force by making relevant recommendations as well as to achieve cost effective maintenance. - Identifies and reports requirement of spare parts and recommends its use on repair or replacement basis. Assists the Supervisor to specify the spares for procurement. - Supports Supervisor & planning engineer for work schedule and priorities. - Prepare and participate in Task Risk Assessments (TRAs) - Checks and verifies tools, spares and other materials for conformity with the order for its acceptance and fitness for use, on arrival of items. - Checks and verifies the compliance of works executed by the contractors for its completion and technical acceptability. - Directs the Materials Service Clerks for proper preservation and storage of spare parts & consumables. - Conducts safety toolbox talk before job execution, attends group safety meetings, conducts safety observation tours and reports incidents and near-misses. - Makes recommendations to continuously improve the method of work, for safe execution. - Uses and ensures the use of proper PPEs by self and the team members. - Ensures proper housekeeping at all times at job sites. - Acts as a member of the emergency team and participates in firefighting when required. - Carries out planned PMs of rotating equipment and auxiliaries according to prepared job plans which includes strainer cleaning, lube oil replacement, run out check, air filters / fuel filters replacement, collecting samples for lube oil analysis - Assists various rotating equipment vendors for conducting stage inspections and overhauls for eg. rotor replacements, boroscopic inspection, level 1, 2 & 3 inspections of gas turbines. - Executes corrective maintenance (CMs) and assists supervisor for planning the work and requesting materials. - Practice trouble shooting methods effectively on site for various rotating equipments. - Prepares sketches and reports and fill up documents such as work permits, material requests etc. - To review WMS and attend daily permit meetings. - Use SAP (maintenance management system) for raising and closing WOs, PMRs, material requests etc. - Provide comprehensive and detailed e-logbook handovers at the end of each shift and crew change. - Supports engineering, construction and commissioning activities, onshore and offshore during project stage for rotating equipments and packages. - Raise punch points and observation records for non-conformances found during onshore construction and follow-up closeout. - Suspending activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor.Generic AccountabilitiesPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures - Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.
