Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The Senior Technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repositioning of fire and safety equipment at new and existing project sites. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Testing

Install and test devices and equipment at new sites/projects to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.

Assist with the moving, installation, and repositioning of fire and safety equipment at existing and new sites/projects.

Breakdown Response and Problem Solving

Attend to breakdowns promptly, identify faults, and solve problems with minimal downtime to production, following supervisor's instructions and directions.

Safety and Reporting

Identify and report any activity that could potentially cause harm or damage to the current project site.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Maintenance Implementation

Assist in the implementation and execution of corrective maintenance, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.

Inspection and Monitoring

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of devices and equipment at various sites and projects.

Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition and report any discrepancies.

Documentation and Reporting

Record, create, and maintain all reports and documents related to inspections, surveys, and job completion for designated stations.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fire and safety equipment installation and maintenance.

Strong technical knowledge of fire and safety systems and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Proficiency in using relevant tools and software for installation and testing.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

This position may require working at various sites, which can include indoor and outdoor environments.
