As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Key Accountabilities:Assemble various opto-electronic test-bench setups and perform testing of related UUT (Unit Under Test) devices.Test electronic circuit boards with appropriate testing devices to ensure optimal efficiency, functionality, and that performance are in accordance with requirements.Confer with engineers, customers, vendors and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects or products.Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings and work instructions to identify different components and materials required for the assembly process.Ensure that the assembled products conform to specifications; compare finished products to Customer BoM for accuracy in terms of components used, board population, electronic assembly, etc.Inspect PCB Electronic Assemblies for defects; solder quality, parts alignment, missing parts, visual damage, etc.Conduct in-circuit test (ICT) for shorts, resistance, and capacitance to assess whether the printed circuit boards (PCB) were correctly manufacturedAnalyse and repair failures, component failures and manufacturing defects using light tools, hand tools, and electronic test and repair equipmentConduct component level repair of PCBs to include soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components tasks in compliance with IPC Class III soldering standardsDetermine material and equipment needs and order supplies.Carry out routine corrective and preventive maintenance of PCBs to ensure it is safe and efficient to operate at all times and produces maximum outputMaintain logs and records of related tests, procedures and results.Work with internal departments and teams to ensure that optical systems meet all necessary performance requirements.Investigate the usage of the latest optical components, tools, materials and technologies.Support production facilities in the manufacture and assembly of optical systems.Experience & Education Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum: 0-1 years\' of hands-on experience in maintenance or assembly within militaryPreferred: Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or 3 years\' experience of hands-on experience in an electronic PCB assembly line working manually or on Automated SMD machines or similar#HALCON
