- Ensure project compliance with SHELL DEP, BP Guidelines, and ADNOC Codes of Practice (COPs)
- Develop safety case reports, risk assessments, and HAZID/HAZOP studies
- Conduct quantitative risk assessments (QRA), fire & explosion risk analysis (FERA), and escape & evacuation analysis (EERA)
- Identify safety-critical elements (SCEs) and ensure alignment with safety regulations
- Implement safety design modifications to enhance offshore platform integrity
- Work closely with project managers, EPC contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure proper technical documentation, safety reviews, and regulatory approvals
- Provide guidance on fire protection, toxic gas detection, and emergency response planningWhat Skills Are Needed for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer in Abu Dhabi?- 10+ years of experience in technical safety design for EPC oil & gas projects
- Strong knowledge of SHELL DEP, BP Guidelines, ADNOC COPs, and international safety standards
- Experience in EPC/EPCI offshore oil & gas sector, preferably with McDermott, L&T, Petrofac, or similar companies
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Safety, or related field)
