Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT System Administrator to join our Valued customer dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure, especially the system technologies. The Senior IT System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our customer systems.Desired Candidate Profile * Bachelors degree in technology related fields or equivalent.
Microsoft Certification -MCSA/MCSE/Azure etc
12-15 Years, minimum 8 years in IT Windows -Microsoft technologies administration support.
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role, with at least 10-12 + years of experience in managing complex IT Enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies Office 365, Exchange, Azure, Active Directory, Windows, operating systems, including system installation, configuration, troubleshooting and administration.
Having good experience in Microsoft Teams enterprise-level administration
Experience managing ITSM tools and tickets with SLA.
Proficiency in managing Vendor SLA and support tickets.
In-depth knowledge of Windows server environments, clustering, RDS and File servers
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft exchange servers and email gateways with mail flow and troubleshooting skills
In-depth knowledge to manage and troubleshooting Microsoft AD/Azure Entra (Azure AD)
The candidate must have a 2-year experience in Manage Engine products like AD Manager/AD Audit/File Audit.
Vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation to secure the system managed technology to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery methodologies and tools.
Develop, write, and demonstrate procedural operations to build continuity in the systems.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for system administration tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary for system maintenance and emergencies.
Proficiency in networking protocols, security principles, and infrastructure management.
Basic Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware or any other) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle) are added advantages.
Extending support within the IT department and other department to fulfill the business needs.
