Roles and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and design specifications. Team Leadership and Coordination Lead multidisciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution. Assign responsibilities, monitor team performance, and provide guidance to achieve project goals. Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders. Maintain clear and open communication to manage expectations and address concerns promptly. Quality Assurance Ensure all fit-out work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to the agreed design and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any deviations. Budget and Cost Control Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on quality. Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns through proactive planning and monitoring. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure that all fit-out activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits. Problem-Solving and Risk Management Anticipate and address potential challenges or delays in project execution. Develop contingency plans to minimize risks and maintain project continuity. Procurement and Vendor Management Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for fit-out projects. Evaluate and manage vendor and contractor performance to ensure timely and quality deliveries. Reporting and Documentation Prepare regular progress reports, including updates on timelines, budgets, and quality metrics. Maintain accurate project documentation for future reference and compliance purposes. Continuous Improvement Evaluate completed projects to identify areas for improvement in processes and strategies. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction in future projects. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, RICS certified Chartered Surveyor Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in fit-out management for commercial properties, including high-end office and retail spaces. Experience and Skills: Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in managing interior fit-out projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Skills: Strong organizational and project planning skills to manage all phases of fit-out projects from inception to completion. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar software. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction, design, and fit-out processes, including materials, methods, and quality standards. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants. Client Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders, preparing reports, and resolving conflicts. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify potential challenges and implement effective solutions. Budget and Cost Management: Expertise in preparing and managing project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting. Quality Assurance: Attention to detail to ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with design specifications. Health and Safety Compliance: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Time Management and Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
