The Senior Structural Engineer will work under the guidance of the Resident Engineer and the Project Manager and will be responsible for leading the work of a design squad on various types of structures on major roadway projects. Projects include design of new highways and upgrading/rehabilitation of existing roads.

Job Duties

+ Make new procedures for QA/QC as applicable for inspections, test plans

+ Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector\xe2\x80\x99s performance on a regular basis.

+ Update progress for all assigned works to the project manager to include in his reports

+ Review updated records that would form as built records

+ Check and coordinate for all assigned services

+ Coordinate with Head office (Design) for all material reviews and design querie

Qualifications

Qualification

+ Bachelors in Structural Engineering

+ P.Eng preferred

Specific Skills Required

+ Have working knowledge in supervising works as applicable

+ Management experience with the ability to lead a team and communicate and interact with all other building disciplines

+ Client coordination

+ Reporting and communication skills

Experience

+ Minimum 15 years of experience within similar projects
