Primary Objectives / Responsibilities Technical Competency: · Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. · Supports the standardization of specifications, drawings, and document templates. · Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. · Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. · Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings. · Technical supervision of project-designated Structural designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duty. · Preparation /checking of Specifications, data sheets. · Performance of bid evaluation and vendor document review and approval · Review the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports and follow required checking procedures. · Review Structural drawings and documents for topside and jacket, bridges, bridge support structure, flares etc. · Knowledge on reassessment of existing structures by performing relevant calculations and providing information for strengthening drawings. Project Execution: · Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. · Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence. · Supports Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities, drives and participates in squad checking, recommends improvements, and takes action where required. · Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules · Manage Structural design and any design changes within budget and schedule. · Prepare and participate in weekly Structural meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures. · Review and approve all related technical documents and coordinate with the Lead Engineer. · Review and advice on layouts, during technical evaluation stage of bidder's proposals to assess technical capability and ensure compliance with project specifications. · Execute verification, studies and detail design following best engineering practices and optimization in term of cost, construction simplicity, operability and maintainability, HSSE. · Carry out the design and technical reviews for all areas of work such as Geophysical and geo-technical and site investigation · Review design specifications for Offshore structural works. · Review Scope of Work and technical specification for construction subcontracts.

· Review technical documentation for material requisition.

Project Deliverables:

· Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations. · Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. · Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval. · Reviews documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports. · Evaluate new technology advancements against existing design standards and revise where applicable. · Identify and review new technology development which could be applicable in providing more cost effective facilities. · Perform discipline specific engineering services such as: a) Identify and report changes to project scope; b) Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; c) Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports; d) Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Procurement Support:

· Incorporates information from multiple sources into equipment/material specifications, data sheets, testing requirements, and material requisitions. · Reviews similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports. · Selects and documents correct materials/equipment for application/service. Site Support:

· Seeks input from knowledgeable sources, participates in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews, and ensures that requirements are incorporated into engineering/design. · Works with site personnel to resolve issues. · Create plans or documents that supports construction, testing, commissioning, operations, maintenance, or decommissioning. · Review and approve projects modifications as-built documents. · Leads on-site support for construction, commissioning, or turn over.

· Understands and communicates Worley's Vision, Purpose & Values and translates the strategy into practical goals and objectives for self and team members Quality Assurance: · Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems Safety:

· Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures · Promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness.

Job Specific Knowledge: · Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment. · Specialized expertise of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of offshore engineering practices applicable to and Structural design engineering for oil and gas facilities. · Ensure recognised offshore engineering practices applicable to Structural design are adopted. · Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills in the Structural discipline, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients. · Specialized expertise of the fundamental requirements of the Structural discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines. · Specialized expertise of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements. · Specialized experience in developing calculations for in-service, preservice for topside, jacket, bridges, misc. cathodic protection etc. · Specialized knowledge on reassessment of existing structures/Brownfield works. · Familiar with Industrial/International Codes and Standards EU/BS, AISC, API, ISO. Probes for further information or greater understanding of a problem. Makes rational judgments from the available information and analysis. Demonstrates an understanding of how one issue may be a part of a much larger system. Proficient in specialty engineering, analytics, modelling, and cross-discipline data-centric methods. · Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations: Takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and solving customer problems/ issues. Sets high standards for quality and quantity and monitors and maintains quality and productivity. Excellent customer focus and ability to consistently meet Worley and its client's needs. Ensures the design team is aware of and complying with the client's Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes. Pro-active, goal-oriented with excellent attention to detail. Industry specific experience: · Decent years of experience, 8 of which have been in conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design of Offshore structures. Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: · Full-time bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. · Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage
