Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise structural design teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance to engineers and draftsmen
- Perform full structural design, including stability analysis, foundation design, and conventional R.C. slab calculations
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and obtain necessary approvals from municipalities
- Develop structural design models using software tools and conduct manual calculations for loads, stresses, and environmental pressures such as wind and earthquakes
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers to integrate safe and efficient designs that align with the project vision
- Implement and oversee in-house quality assurance (QA/QC) programs to maintain high-quality design standards
- Review and monitor structural work done by sub-consultants to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Provide structural engineering support during construction, resolving any design-related challenges in coordination with the project site team and contractors
- Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure project documentation meets industry standards and project requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant experience in high-rise tower projects
- Strong knowledge of local and international building codes and design regulations
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, PROKON, RAM Concept, and ADAPT
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and ensure design integrity
