T he Technology & Data Governance section of the Fintech Department is responsible for the assessment of regulated entities\xe2\x80\x99 IT governance and risk management. This role is responsible for performing risk assessments to support the authorising and supervising of regulated entities, administering tools that contribute to such assessments, and advancing the section\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities for the oversight of regulated entities\xe2\x80\x99 IT governance and risk management.
Operational Responsibilities:
Implement and execute the department\xe2\x80\x99s framework for assessing regulated entities\xe2\x80\x99 IT governance and risk management;
Collaborate with internal teams to provide expertise on regulated entities\xe2\x80\x99 use of IT in the overall authorisation and supervision of regulated entities;
Develop and administer programmes and tools for the ongoing monitoring of regulated entities\xe2\x80\x99 IT risk posture;
Engage with regional and international market participants and other stakeholders to monitor developments in IT governance and risk management (including operational resilience and cybersecurity);
Conduct ongoing research to understand emerging IT risks that could affect regulated entities and formulate mitigation strategies for these risks;
Assist in the development of regulatory frameworks to address IT risks faced by regulated entities;
Assist in the authoring of FSRA\xe2\x80\x99s thought-leadership research pieces for external publication relating to regulatory policy for IT governance and risk management;
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting by supervisory teams; and
Deliver additional tasks that may be delegated from Line Manager.

Work Experience
Essential
Fluent business English speaker with ability to write detailed and accurate assessments and publications within tight deadlines.
Proficient in research, analysis and drafting skills in relation to emerging technological developments, including cloud computing, agile development methodologies, FinTech, cybersecurity, international regulation, digital assets, and decentralized finance.
Demonstrated experience working with technology-driven firms and/or technology companies in managing regulatory risk and the ability to research and grasp new technical concepts quickly.
6-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in financial services and innovation with an understanding of and experience in international financial services markets, in particular capital markets, payments, and banking.
Familiar with international regulatory requirements relating to IT and cybersecurity.
Prior experience in a fast-paced deadline-driven operational environment
Desirable:
Experience in dealing with local/international regulatory bodies.
Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated project management, planning, organisation and analytical skills.
Qualifications / competency software engineering, cybersecurity, data governance, finance or related disciplines.
