Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

A dvise in the development of effective market and business intelligence by using data warehousing techniques to organize and integrate reliable and time-oriented information with focus on market competitiveness and rising industries and it impact on a long-term horizon.
Assess LCS&IG\'s competitive value including opportunity scanning- Supply/demand, Market & Technology trend, Competitor Profile/ Analytics, etc. for optimum business development opportunities, pricing and sales strategies supporting better decision.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Market Intelligence
  • Distil complexity and ambiguity by gathering quantitative and qualitative business/market information, performing quantitative analyses, identifying the most salient facts and insights whilst articulating coherent and compelling conclusions/recommendations to support decision making in the LCS&IG Directorate.
  • Participate in the annual planning process to ensure market trends, customer needs and global benchmarks are timely addressed while partnering with sales finance and product leads to outline concrete business development goals. Execute a process for developing a multi-year business strategy, including; objective setting, dependency identification, economic logic definition, merging goals across departments, identification of risks & mitigation and aligning with financial plan forecast.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely availability of relevant information to relevant levels of the enterprise, from senior management to the knowledge worker using existing data assets to make better business decisions and to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Facilitate and support interactions with key stakeholders across the LCS&IG Directorate to identify the specific objectives as part of developing a strategic plan.
  • Analyse current organizational capabilities and processes, identify issues/gaps critical to delivering on the LCS&IG Directorate\'s initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of LCS&IG business strategies, operational changes and process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse relevant data such as competitive information, industry trends, and historical performance to develop sound forecasts in support of plans.
  • Develop business cases for strategic initiatives that include key assumptions, planned return on investment, risks and upside to plan, etc.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to evaluate the financial impact of new partnership opportunities.
  • Lead the analysis of impact of strategic plan on current operating models and workflows and support in development of future state operating models and implementation plans to align with strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate to ensure consistency of ADNOC\'s market analysis with other relevant functions within TEO
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management, Economics or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 10 years or more of industry experience in strategic intelligence, business planning, financial valuation or modelling, preferably within the energy space
