Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:Drive all key activations in the UAE that align with the business priorities, own planning and execution.Add value by delivering city specific cultural & consumer insights to help formulate the Dubai Key City + UAE overall marketing plan within the EMC brand plan, which in turn drives excellence and standards in creative, city relevant brand marketing activations which resonates with the city consumer, growing Share of Search and NS by winning the hearts & minds of the Emirati consumers.Key Responsibilities:
Be the knowledgeable expert on Dubai Consumers for each of the key focus categories, Trade Zones & to be aware of city specific developments and trends
Be proactive with initiative opportunities to enhance Key Stakeholder Dubai Consumer Obsession through Knowledge and insights, Understanding, Daily application - what can we do now i.e. quick wins, Future opportunities - what do we need to do in the future i.e. mid-long-term needs.
Collaborate with different channels and areas to bring activations to life (WHS, OR, NSR, Categories)
Active member and POC of adidas runners Dubai and adidas runners Abu Dhabi, enhancing the experience and always on the look for newness.
Be the go to person to validate and collaborate on the best creators, influencers, partners and opportunities for the brand.
Key Relationships:
SR Brand Comms Key City, NSR team, Category leads, WHS and OR team, SPOMA.
Partners like Dubai Marathon, Dubai tourism, Sports council, Abu Dhabi tourism, and others.
Fashion and lifestyle partners
Activation agencies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong cross-functional experience across different stakeholders
Agency management
Ability to enroll key stakeholders and gain support for initiatives.
Creative and innovative.
Strong conceptual understanding of brand building.
Native of social media.
Deep understanding of UAE, especially Dubai landscape, culture, and trends.
At least 2 years working in the UAE.
Knowledgeable of a large and relevant contact book of local influencers.
Enthusiasm/energy for activation.
Ideas focused, complemented with organizational and project management skills.
Ability to co-ordinate internal and external multidisciplinary groups
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business or Marketing with a minimum of 3-4 years equivalent professional experience.
English speaking role, Arabic would be beneficial but not essential.
