JOB PURPOSE:Develop and ensure all Upstream technical data strategy, governance, data models & architecture initiatives/activities. And the development and utilizing the fit-for-purpose frameworks / concepts / best practices / industry standards / latest technologies to ensure data / information / knowledge accessibility, integrity and quality and empower upstream technical data user communities and enhance business value, and continuously align with the company strategy.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific Accountabilities
Ensure and heavily participate in the development of the upstream technical data strategy, governance initiatives/activities (policies, procedures, structure, roles & responsibilities, etc.) to serve the Upstream data user communities across ADNOC Onshore assets & functions, shareholders, Upstream Data Governance Steering Committee and ADNOC Group Companies, and to maximize the upstream technical data full potential.
Develop the data Architecture Roadmap based on business requirements and priorities to derive enterprise data architecture requirements based on latest market trends and best practice.
Ensure and heavily participate in the development and implementation the upstream technical data operating model/ data frameworks (e.g. governance, quality, etc.) / guidelines/ roadmaps / Data standards/ best practices maintaining the highest standards of data quality, accessibility, extraction and connectivity to the Upstream Petro-Technical Applications.
Define and govern the data stewardship for the company Upstream Technical data to ensure compliance with data governance, enhance data quality and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company\xe2\x80\x99s data assets.
Participate in the data management maturity assessment program (measures/ gaps/ roadmaps), benchmarking, implementing, and maintaining data management business procedures/ processes/ workflows/ Service level agreements and measures through performance indicators, trending reports and balanced scorecards required to monitor progress toward the strategic goals of data management, alignment with the corporate mandate, and benchmarking with Group companies and shareholders.
Establishes document, maintains, communicates and enforces an effective Data architecture/governance /standards and policies and change control process.
Provide guidance and expertise for all data governance\xe2\x80\x99s related issues to Data management communities within AON and across AGCs and ensure alignment with Group Upstream Information Management, Technical data strategy, data management guiding principles, set of controls.
Promotes across the organization, awareness of general data management principles and the corporate strategy, through knowledge sharing channels like awareness sessions, training, interact, email, etc.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ IS or Engineering preferably in subsurface discipline, postgraduate degree is preferable
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 - 12 years of experience in Information Technology and relevant business Disciplines, including at least 4 in Data management discipline
3- 5 years experience in oil & gas industry.
Understanding of industry best practice for Data Management discipline
Understanding of key business processes in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry
