The opportunity
Seeking a self-driven, strategic-minded, and results-oriented Senior Specialist - AI Customer Engagement, to work closely with the Senior Director- Commercial to support the execution of Inception's sales strategy. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations, developing and implementing profitable sales strategies, processes and tools that measurably enhance Inception's overall business performance. You will play a critical role in analyzing sales data, generating reports, and providing key insights for data-driven decision-making, with a focus on strategic thinking and operational excellence.
Inception is the UAE's national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities• Responsible for assisting the account managers and sales teams to meet customers and shape technical proposals, etc.
• Responsible for training, assisting and closing sales with the sales team. You will participate in very clear and fully validated leads - that will be done by the account manager and sales team.
• You will be involved in account planning quarterly. And should have a relatively clear engagement plan with associated goals/KPIs
• You will provide a costing approach to each project in terms of resources and this will be used by sales to build the commercial proposal.
• You will be responsible for onboarding a delivery team into the project and helping manage their integration with the customer and their internal team.
• The role will mean you need to be an expert in our internal products and our product strategy.
• You will be expected to be aware of developments in the field and be capable at any time of describing the future with potential clients.
• Responsible of reporting on projects risks, performance, etc

To qualify, you must have• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in sales operations, project management, or CRM systems
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience within the tech industry.
• 3+ years of proven experience in sales operations, business analysis, or related roles.
• Excellent knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools
• Proficiency in using data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Ideally, you'll also need• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
