We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer - ELT for our trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai.Job Purpose:To run data integration project with aim to centralize data reporting and help business understand processes, have visibility in data quality and improve decision making. To create reports that enhance operational efficiency and promote visibility of processes and KPIs. To develop data integration pipelines, data transformation procedures and reports in Tableau and to provide business visibility into key performance indexes. To understand requirements from business and design and implement solution, communicate project status to project manager and update business on the progress.Responsibilities:
- Design, build and deploy effective data ingestion pipelines/streams in StreamSets Data Collector & Kafka
- Process data using SQL and PL SQL Procedures
- Orchestrate and automate data ingestion pipelines
- Transform data into Star Schema Data Model including partitioning and distribution strategy
- Create Semantic layer and Data Marts
- Build Aggregate tables
- Design and Develop Visualization for KPIs
- Compose Sheets using Tableau Data Model
- Develop Tableau Workbook using Containers and Sheets parameters and automate data extracts
- Maintenance of system logs
- Security Update and System Patching
- Monitoring of the platform and applications
- Snowflake, StreamSets Data Collector, Kafka, DBT, Airflow, PostgreSQL + Citus, Tableau
- Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling
- Data Visualization / Reporting
- Software Industry (database, data integration and reporting)
- Aviation & Airline Industry
- Overall Experience (Years): 5-7 Years
- Relevant Experience (Years): 3-5 Years
- Professional/Regulatory/Certification Requirements: Certifications preferred in data integration and data modeling
