Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (With UAE attestation)

Site Architect experience of atleast 4 -6years, preferably within in the UAE

Proficient in computer tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail and content.

Highly skilled in AutoCAD and experience with other design related programs such as Sketchup and InDesign is desirable. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is a must.

Technical and practical knowledge of general architectural practice including programming, planning, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.

Knowledge in the construction process and materials is vital.

Good understanding of the UAE Universal design codes and standards as well as authorities regulations such as Dubai Municipality, Green Building and Civil Defense. Knowledge in DDA, Trakhees and other development guidelines are valued assets.

A good understanding and experience of civil engineering practices relating to civil works, including setting out and supervision of construction is crucial.

Good communicator for Internal and external client liaison with the ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships.

A flexible approach to working hours and travel; with occasional weekend work required

Be of the highest caliber; punctual, attentive and competent in adhering to Binchy and Binchy policies, procedures and working practices

Must have a UAE driving license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

Review and coordinate architecture/interior design drawings with structure, MEP design and other related trades.

Review design drawings against authorities regulations and developer guidelines.

Checking and coordination with technical team regarding production of technical drawings to ensure drafting and content accuracy.

Overseeing construction supervision and coordination to ensure that the design and specifications are implemented accordingly, including work inspections.

Review samples and shop drawings submissions.

Conduct site visits to check the progress, condition and verification works.

Maintain proper records and correspondence as per the company standards and policies.

Prepare technical specifications for various projects.

Responding and resolving any technical queries (RFI's) and other problems that may arise in projects.

Liaising with clients, representatives, contractors, subcontractors and other trades.

Attend meetings or coordination meetings with the client and other project stakeholders

Assist to manage any project in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Perform proper design information distribution internally or externally.

Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations.

Oversee a project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design

Work effectively within a collaborative team environment and act as significant point of contact for technical advice.

Work under the direction of the Senior Architect and Director.

Must be able to manage workloads under pressure.
