- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
- Assist customers in selecting jewellery pieces that match their preferences and budget.
- Provide product knowledge and educate customers on jewellery materials, gemstones, and craftsmanship.
- Offer styling advice and recommendations to customers based on their tastes and occasions.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Sales:
- Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate excellent product presentation skills to showcase jewellery items effectively.
- Close sales transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current promotions, discounts, and sales events.
- Store Operations:
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of the jewellery displays and store environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, replenishing, and restocking merchandise.
- Participate in regular stocktakes and assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding security measures, including handling cash and preventing theft.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product arrivals, and jewellery design techniques.
- Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars to enhance expertise.
- Share knowledge with colleagues to foster a collaborative and informed sales team environment.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a jewellery or luxury goods environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for delivering memorable shopping experiences.
- Knowledge of jewellery materials, gemstones, and craftsmanship preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
