Role Summary:
The Senior Sales Engineer specializing in HVAC and Fire Fighting Systems will serve as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our HVAC and fire protection solutions. Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Reporting to: Head of Building Services
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Market Development:
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities within the Abu Dhabi and Northern Emirates areas.
  • Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and identify potential target segments for pump products.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to penetrate the market and achieve sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, provide personalized support, and address any technical or commercial concerns.
  • Understand customer requirements, propose suitable pump solutions, and negotiate contracts to secure sales.
Sales Generation:
  • Achieve sales targets by actively promoting and selling pump products to customers in the assigned regions.
  • Conduct sales visits, product demonstrations, and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of our pump solutions.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and close sales deals.
Technical Expertise:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our pump products, their technical specifications, and applications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing their inquiries, conducting product training, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our pumps.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any technical issues or challenges.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback in the Abu Dhabi and Northern Emirates areas.
  • Gather market intelligence, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the sales management team.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, propose sales strategies, and contribute to business development initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the sales team, technical support team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, participate in industry events, and support marketing campaigns.
  • Provide feedback from the market to the product development team to contribute to product enhancements and innovations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the pump industry or related technical field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi and Northern Emirates market and an existing network of contacts in the region is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
