Prospect new business, develop opportunities, demo the product, and close sales.What you\'ll do
Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
With the support of a pre-sales representative, execute business development activities to strategically grow the customer base through prospecting and cold calling. Develop a replicable sales process to drive closure
Follow up on qualified opportunities brought by the pre-sales team
Conduct live demonstrations on web applications either virtual or physical meetings
Work collaboratively with our global Sales team, product, and market analysts to build the best product in the market and close exciting global deals
Travel 3 times per quarter to participate in industry events and conferences as Kpler representative and meet prospects
Provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts for weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
You are or have...
You have 5-7 years of experience as an Account Manager selling data/tech/SaaS either to the energy/commodity-related industry (MUST HAVE)
Fluency in English, additional languages such as French would be an advantage
Knowledge of the African market
Strong sales negotiation, sales closing, and active listening skills
Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs
Successful track record of selling a complex product or proposition by taking a consultative approach - you effectively build relationships, define needs, and close the sale because you propose the right solution
Driven and self-disciplined. You can work in autonomy without much guidance and thrive in unstructured, fast-paced, ever-changing environments
