In this role you will ensure compliance with all established SHEA programs and maintain compliance with Kingdom and Flowserve standards. The right candidate shall have direct experience in Manufacturing environment preferably in OEM industry. The HSE Supervisor reports directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities : Manage environmental, health, and safety activities through strong leadership, communication, motivation, and direction of safety committee. Guide the development and implementation of Flowserve's Health and Safety policies and programs with specific focus on further investing in the facility safety culture and behaviors. Conduct a rigorous incident investigation process focused on, prevention, root cause analysis and injury prevention leading indicators. Coordinate safety training for all FLSAR employees in the areas of Safety Health & Environmental matters Flowserve Al-Rushaid Co. Ltd. Develop and administer New Hire Orientation Safety Training Investigate and maintain records for all work-related injuries and/or illnesses, provide statistical analysis, and assist department management in the development of effective health and safety countermeasures to continuously improve safety objectives. Serve as co-chair on the Joint Health and Safety Committee and help to coordinate activities, recommendations, and accountability of issues identified by the Safety regulations and Flowserve corporate audits. Conduct monthly workplace safety audits and establish measurable standards from which further recommendations (continuous improvement) can be made, with effective follow-up. Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures, training, and practice drills. Ensure all environmental reports are submitted accurately and on time pertaining air, storm water and sanitary sewer discharge permits. Develop and manage the internal safety team Perform additional related duties as needed. Responsible of establishing all required procedures and SHEA management system to comply with ISO 45001 & 14001 certification requirements. Perform internal audits as per ISO requirements to ensure procedural adherence as well as hosting all external quality related audits of Flowserve Al-Rushaid. Communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of people internally and externally to the facility.
Requirements: University Degree preferably engineering or other relevant. Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Safety and Environmental field. At least 2 years in leadership position. Must be ISO 45001 IRCA Certified lead Auditor. Must be ISO 14001 IRCA Certified lead Auditor. Thorough practical knowledge and hands-on experience in pre- and post ISO certification process for facilities. Must have completed a minimum of 2 complete audit cycle as per ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements. Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience in establishing Safety and Environmental procedures and maintain records as per ISO 45001 & ISO 14001. Familiar with Saudi regulations for Safety and Environmental requirements as well as Aramco Safety standard and specification. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills: Positive and Can-Do attitude. Previous experience working as SHEA representative or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Flexibility and willingness to for within and outside kingdom travel. Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills. Leadership & ability to interact with all levels of employees. Operational Excellence & High Level of Customer Service Standard.
