ABOUT THE ROLE This Senior Role in Marina Operations involves overseeing various aspects of the marina's day-to-day activities and ensuring smooth operations. ABOUT THE FUNCTION 1. Management and Leadership
Provide leadership and direction to the marina staff. Manage and supervise department heads and other key personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Develop and manage the marina's budget. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting. 2. Facility Maintenance
Oversee the maintenance of marina facilities, including docks, buildings, and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 3. Customer Service
Implement and maintain high standards of customer service. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Develop and implement customer service training programs for staff. 4. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to marina operations. Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust operations accordingly. 5. Security and Safety
Implement security measures to protect marina assets. Develop and enforce safety protocols for both staff and customers. 6. Marketing and Business Development
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the marina and attract new customers. Identify opportunities for business growth and development. Problem-Solving Skills. DESIRED PROFILE (QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY) Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field. Managerial position experience in a marine/vessel operations organization, including progressively responsible management experience with both professional and operations staff.
