Our brands include Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols and Armani to name just a few!About The RoleAs a Senior Designer you assist the Design Manager in the completion and implementation of design projects for Department stores Bloomingdale and Harvey Nichols in accordance with agreed parameters of quality standards, costs and timeliness.What you will be doing

• Develop and executive innovative store designs that reflect the luxury brands identity and enhance the customer experience.

• Create detailed layouts, concept sketches, and 3D rendering using design software.

• Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept sketches to final execution, including materials and finishes selection.

• Manage multiple project simultaneously, overseeing timelines, budgets and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Provide support in agreeing the project brief, establishing timelines, delegating tasks and monitor progress.

• Undertake Value Engineering reviews and make recommendations for improvement during the various design stages and advise Design Manager on any matters arising.

• Collaborate with executive leadership, liaise with Consultants, Client , Landlords etc. on all client related changes, comments, and ensure approvals and consequent incorporation in the design.

• Ensure design compliance is line with best practices, BU requirements and Company policies and procedures

• Monitor the performance of their team members to ensure the design correctness and completeness as well as compliance with the scope of work requirements

• Check contractors workshop drawings to ensure alignment with the designers intent.

• Conduct site assessments and work with construction teams to ensure design integrity and quality.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of design trends and consumer preferences.

• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering a creative environment.

About youYou have proven experience in retail store design and project management. You are focused on creating engaging and functional retail spaces. You have the ability to priorities and organize own work in order to make the most efficient use of time available.A successful candidate should have the following education, skills and experience:

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in leading design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand vision. 2years is in Luxury high

end fashion or beauty sector.

• Experience in Concept and Detailed design.

• Strong understanding of retail stores and customer flow in Luxury high end Fashion or Beauty industry.

• Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rendering 3D.

• Ability to work on high volume and multiple projects within a short timelines.

• Passion in creating exceptional retail experiences.

• Excellent Communication skills and Leadership skills

• Organised and excellent project management skills.

• Strong Interpersonal skills and Self Driven
