Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our recruitment consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the recruitment sector, with a proven ability to generate new business, build client relationships, and strategically grow the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities :
• Business Development : Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients in various industries.
• Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs and ensure client satisfaction.
• Market Research : Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
• Lead Generation : Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to expand the client portfolio.
• Sales Strategy : Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
• Proposal Writing : Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients, outlining the value of the company's recruitment services.
• Revenue Targets : Meet or exceed set revenue targets by consistently winning new business and growing existing client accounts.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure a smooth recruitment process for clients and a clear understanding of client needs.
• Reporting : Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, client feedback, and market trends.
Key Requirements :
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.
• Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of the recruitment sector, including knowledge of different recruitment models, talent acquisition strategies, and industry-specific requirements.
• Proven Track Record : Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving sales targets in a recruitment consultancy.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present services and solutions to clients.
• Negotiation Skills : Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle contract discussions and secure favorable terms for the company.
• Networking : Ability to build and maintain a professional network across industries to generate business leads.
• Time Management : Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
• Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with CRM software, recruitment databases, and MS Office Suite.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
