Tendering and Contract Administration:
Prepare and assess tenders, conduct negotiations with contractors, and ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage post-contract administration, including change orders, claims, and disputes.
Cost Control and Reporting:
Monitor project progress and costs, ensuring cost control measures are in place. Provide regular reports on the financial status of the project to stakeholders and senior management.Conduct site visits to measure and quantify materials, labor, and other resources used. Verify the work completed and assess the valuation of progress.Identify financial risks and assist in mitigating them through proactive measures and recommendations.Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure that the required materials, labor, and services are available on time, and at the right cost.Ensure that all activities comply with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines. Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, payments, and other financial documentation.Analyze costs and produce financial forecasts to support project decisions. Advise the project team on cost-saving strategies and provide financial insight into decision-making processes.

Educational Requirements:
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A professional qualification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) may be desirable.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in civil engineering or construction.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficient in quantity surveying software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to cost management.
Certifications:
MRICS or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Willingness to travel to site locations as required.
