Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with expertise in fit-out and joinery projects . The ideal candidate will manage the financial aspects of fit-out and joinery works, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tendering and Estimating : Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for fit-out and joinery works. Analyze subcontractor bids and assist in the selection process.

- Cost Management : Prepare and oversee budgets specifically for fit-out and joinery projects. Monitor expenditure, track variations, and manage cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.

- Value Engineering : Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements in fit-out and joinery processes. Propose alternative materials and methods to enhance project value.

- Financial Reporting : Generate and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting budget performance and forecasting future financial positions.

- Team Leadership : Mentor junior quantity surveyors and support their professional development in fit-out and joinery practices.

- Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Procurement Oversight : Manage the procurement process for materials and services, including sourcing, negotiating, and selecting suppliers.

- Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to provide accurate financial insights and support project delivery.

- Reporting : Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and progress updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on fit-out and joinery projects.

- Strong knowledge of relevant construction contracts, regulations, and standards.

- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
