Job Description

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Providing pre and post contract Quantity Surveying Services for the projects including, without limitation, cost estimating, monthly accounts, review of cost and budget forecasts, value engineering, quantum analysis of claims and variation submissions, and final account settlement.
• Ensure variations are identified from the ongoing projects and submitted for approvals.
• Experience in handling of Contractual Variations/ Change orders (should be conversant with compliance of notification obligations, Preparation of VOs, rate-build ups, substantiations, and negotiations).
• Reviewing plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction and infrastructure.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• A valid driver's license.
• Great networking abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED9,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
