This includes developing service networks for newly developed land and community facilities such as schools, mosques, parks, etc. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, change management, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee, review and track all Potential Change (PVRs) and Variations (VOs) including reporting
Oversee, review and track all payments for Consultants and Contractors
Develop, maintain and review Consultant deployment schedules
Contract administration
Preparation and maintenance of estimates, budgets, cost report and cashflows
Liaise with Planning Department and review Value of Work Done (VOWD)
Review and comment on bids and contract award recommendation reports
Estimating of value engineering options and lifecycle costs
Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors cost reports, cash flows and deployment forecasting
Co-ordination with Package Managers, Consultants and Contractors
Preparation of monthly and weekly reports
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
BSc Quantity Surveying
MRICS Membership
Minimum 15 years overall experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in similar role
Minimum 5 years of experience working in Middle East
Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major asset and civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities
Experience in conceptual estimating, cost planning, expenditure profiling, cost reporting and cost forecasting
Experienced user of MS Office, advanced MS Excel user and Primavera Contracts Manager an advantage
Fluent English both written and spoken, Arabic speaking advantageous.
